Harry Hill charity virtual event

A night of stand-up comedy has topped over £100K online viewers and raised over £8k to support local young people with disabilities to enjoy the arts.

Local comic Irving McCormick supported by the Cambridge Junction hosted a live charity virtual event streamed across multiple social media platforms.

With comedy from Richard Herring, Harry Hill, Lost Voice Guy, Simon Panrucker, Jonathan Pie, Lucy Porter, Aaron Simmonds and The King’s Singers.

Event Streaming .TV were delighted to be involved and stream the two-hour event live from their new Cambridge studios. Lockdown has seen a demand from companies wanting help connecting staff and customers and Event Streaming .TV has the ability to stream six unique virtual events simultaneously using professional vision mixers with high production values.

This free charity event was streamed simultaneously to the Junctions Website from the Event Streaming .TV studio across multiple Facebook accounts and quickly gained a huge online engaged audience.

Lockdown Whisky Festival streamed LIVE from the Isles

This year’s Whisky festival for one of the world’s largest producers of spirits and beers was streamed live to Facebook with surprising results.

The annual festival normally takes place over 4 days from distilleries situated across the western isles of Scotland. This year the event took place virtually gaining a new online audience; whisky tasting, Q&A’s with master blenders, pre-recorded video and product announcements were all vision mixed and broadcast from the EventStreaming.TV Cambridge studio.

Content and planning of the virtual festival was managed by the clever folk at REDUX a London based production company ensuring the 3 day webcast was fun, informative and ultimately engaging. Feedback from the client was stellar with impressive viewer numbers, engagement and global reach.

Technically the 6 hour virtual event was managed by just 3 crew utilising zoom, six laptops and a LiveStream HD550 vision mixer. Zoom was used to bring all the presenters and contributors into the mix; this feed was then manipulated within the vision mixer to create a fully branded customisable template. (You wouldn’t know it was Zoom).

To keep the quality high the vision mixer also took graphics and pre-recorded videos in to the mix locally before encoding in HD to multiple Facebook pages.

Puppy training for veterans with mobility impairments. This litter of Labrador Retrievers, 3 girls and 3 boys were born to Megan on January 7, 2018. For the first 8 weeks of their lives the pups are socialized with the help of staff and volunteers as well as U.S. military service members and their families.

Concorde’s nose dipping streamed LIVE

Events were held across the UK to mark the 50th anniversary of Concorde’s maiden flight. Thousands of aviation enthusiasts flocked to Duxford and other airfields to have the rare opportunity to meet Concorde pilots, step on board the aircraft and view footage of the first flight.

The highlight of the day was a simultaneous streamed dipping of the iconic nose from the UK Concorde’s based at Duxford, Manchester and Brooklands.

The three Concorde’s dropped their noses live to Facebook at exactly 2.30pm to mark the occasion of the first flight.

Event Streaming.TV were proud to supply the webcasting/filming crew and equipment to help capture the moment and ensure the success of the live stream.

Christian Eaves-Walton commented: When Heritage Concorde, a group of ex-Concorde engineers, suggested that the Concorde’s at IWM Duxford, Brooklands and Manchester join in a synchronised nose lowering demonstration on line, there was a great deal of head scratching in the Duxford Aviation Society office.

Enter Jamie and Adrian. Their advice was reassuring and the execution of their plan so flawless that we had a report that the live streaming was being viewed in real time by a man in a houseboat on the Oxford canal!

On the ground their quiet efficiency really paid off. The crowd at Duxford saw the other Concorde’s displayed on screens and listened and watched the nose moving completely unaware of the hard work and streamed wizardry that was making all this possible.

It would be hard to overstate our gratitude to Jamie and Adrian for changing a rather scary event into a wonderful celebration of Concorde’s first flight 50 years ago. Thank you Jamie and Adrian!!”

Concorde was a joint Anglo-French project, with its success a moment of intense national pride. Most impressive of all was its speed. A cruising velocity of twice the speed of sound, or 1,350mph, allowed it to cover a mile in just 2.75 seconds.

360 webcast of Anthony Joshua’s workout

The EventStreaming.TV team have just returned from a week in Cardiff filming 360 webcast and streaming LIVE the build up to the Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam fight.

Anthony Joshua made the fourth defence of his world heavyweight titles against Carlos Takam at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, winning the fight in the 10^th round.

Working with Deece Creative the pre-fight workout sponsored by William Hill was filmed and streamed live to 1000’s on Facebook from St David’s Hall in Cardiff. The following day EventStreaming.TV streamed the press conference from Cardiff’s national museum which also saw huge numbers tune in.
